Shrove Tuesday

Today is Shrove Tuesday, Shrove Tuesday is about getting ready for Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is the first of 40 days of Lent. On Shrove Tuesday we saw the priest burn the palms from last years Palm Sunday. we also make and eat pancakes because people used to give up the ingredients that make pancakes for lent so people made pancakes instead of wasting ingredients.
