In R.E we learnt about the ascension of Jesus. At Galilee Jesus told his disciples to take his Gospel to the whole world. He promised to send the Holy spirit to be with us and then he returned ,In glory to his Father in heaven. We used crafts to show

cyber safety

Room 6 has been learning about cyber safety. We have learnt a lot about being a digital citizen. Here are three key rules i think are important.

Be careful what you post on the internet . all information and images leave a digital footprint.
don't share your personal details such as name,age,address and passwords with anyone even if they say they know you.
be nice! no one likes a digital bully. be respectful and be a great digital citizen.

during this term room 6 has been learning how to write a Pepeha  a Pepeha is a Maori introduction that establishes your identity and heritage. we learnt how to say our Pepeha then we said it in front of the class and then we used screencastify to video it. this is my Pepeha.

Statistics

In room 6 math class we have been doing statistical investigations first we learnt about stem and leaf graphs and did fun investigations on sports. We also learnt to make graphs excel. We learnt how to make pie graphs and different types of bar graphs. Below are some graphs I made on excel.

The robot

I am learning to: write about what happens before,during and after an event.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! That was the sound that Mark woke up to. Mark was your normal apprentice in 2020.

As soon as he woke up he got dressed, made toast then he heard his boss yell “It's alive!.”

“Hmm I wonder what crazy thing he's come up with this time,” Mark thought to himself. “I'd better go check what he's doing, just to know.”

When he reached the bottom of the staircase he peeked over the edge of the wall and saw the scientist poking a robot into a cage with a stick.

“Wow!” Mark gasped, and accidentally knocked over a candle holder, SMASH! The noise made the scientist confused, seeing a distraction the robot ran to the door, “SOMEONE GET THAT ROBOT!” the scientist commanded but the robot already left the building. “Now look what you’ve done! Get that robot while your at it!” yelled the scientist. “yes boss” Mark said nervously.

“Robot! Robot come here robot,” screamed Mark. But the robot didn’t come he only went “beeeeep!” which Mark immediately heard.

“I found you, but that crazy old man only wants to capture you, so we’ll stay here and while we’re here I’ll call you Jeff,” said Mark.

“beep beep,” agreed Jeff.
